MT4 Overland began with a personal itch I couldn’t scratch.

During COVID, I kept coming back to the same idea: I wanted an off-road camping trailer that could handle the desert, the beach, and the mountains, but still feel clean, functional, and comfortable. I looked around, and nothing felt quite right.

So I started building.

The first MT4 trailer was built at home, in my garage, piece by piece, after hours, learning as I went. It quickly became more than a project. Friends started asking for builds, then friends of friends, and soon people I didn’t even know.

​

What I loved most was what it unlocked: the freedom to gather my friends and family in remote places and share real moments outdoors: sunsets, bonfires, long dinners, and quiet mornings far from the city.

The name MT4 is a subtle nod to the Empty Quarter: similar in sound, and deeply connected in spirit. Today, MT4 Overland builds custom overland trailers engineered for real terrain and real use, and it’s also the platform behind our sister brand Experience Nomad, where our trailers come to life through hosted outdoor experiences.
